The Director IPMO, Prof Mary Kinoti at an event organized by the British Council to mark the end of the Strategic Partnerships for Higher Education Innovation and Reform (SPHEIR) programme. The event held at Ole Sereni Hotel in Nairobi brought together the AIU Programme Centre of Excellence team, AIU Network partners, other regional partners and key stakeholders. Innovators from University of Nairobi with the AVC RIE and the Director, IPMO at the Kenya Innovation Week 2021. The event hosted by the Kenya National Innovation Agency at the Kenya School of Government ran from 6th-10th December, 2021. On 7th December, 2021, Elgon Kenya and the University of Nairobi entered into a collaborative agreement towards the establishment of an Agricultural Technology and Innovation Center. Present at the signing of the MoU was PS, State Department for East African Community, Dr. Kevit Desai. A team from Nyandarua National Polytechnic visited the University of Nairobi C4D Lab on 26th November 2021. The visit facilitated by the IPMO was a bench marking exercise on business incubation practices. A meeting held between Agricultural Development Corporation and University of Nairobi to discuss potential collaboration in commercialization of agricultural technology developed at University of Nairobi. The meeting was held at the Faculty of Agriculture, Upper Kabete Campus, University of Nairobi on 28th October 2021. A meeting between the Vice-Chancellor, University of Nairobi, Prof. Stephen Kiama and the Managing Director of Elgon Kenya Ltd, Dr. Bimal Kantaria held on 5th October, 2021 to discuss a collaboration in development of a research and innovation center at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Nairobi.
