With just six days to go, the University of Nairobi, through the Division of Research, Innovation and Enterprise, will host the 9th edition of Nairobi Innovation Week (NIW) on Wednesday, 15 July 2026, at the Main Campus.
Organised under the theme "Youth-Driven Solutions for a Sustainable Future," this year's edition brings together innovators, researchers, students, industry partners, government agencies, development organisations, and start-ups for a full day of activities including an Opening Ceremony; Keynote Addresses; Innovation and Thematic Exhibitions; Poster Presentations; Innovators’ Pitching Competition; Startup and Youth Engagements; Industry, Research and Innovation Partnership Forums; and One-On-One Career Advice for Students.
The Opening Ceremony begins at 8:30 AM at the UoN Great Court and will be presided over by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Ayub Gitau. Entry is free and open to the University of Nairobi community, external stakeholders, and members of the public.
