The University of Nairobi has commenced the phased reopening of on-site learning for the rest of the school after final year's students resumed on October 5. 

In an address on Friday, October 23, the Vice Chancellor Stephen Kiama announced that a section of the students would report on November 9.

Welcome to the 8th Boot Camp session organized by the Hult Prize UoN On Campus team.

The speaker, Irene Mwihaki, is a seasoned startup coach and an entrepreneur.

The Facilitator, Elsie Christine is the Assistant Director, Hult Prize UoN On Campus Program and a student at the University of Nairobi.

The 74th United Nations General Assembly designated 29 September as the International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste, recognizing the fundamental role that sustainable food production and consumption plays in promoting food security and nutrition. Observance of this day globally marks a clear call to action for all stakeholders in both the public and private sectors to bolster efforts to reduce food loss and waste.

The 3rd Research Week 2020 is scheduled for October 12 -16, 2020. The annual event, hosted by the University of Nairobi, will feature 13 different conferences covering a diverse range of academic disciplines and is expected to bring together over 1,000 participants comprising researchers, scholars, students and practitioners from all over the world.

More than 2,800 students from the University of Nairobi, graduated on Friday September 25, 2020 virtually. The  event was due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The 50-year-old institution is also gearing towards its research week that will take place between 12th and 16th next month, as the institution joins hands with other researchers in finding a COVID 19 vaccine.
